EURO CUBE
The "Euro-Cube" as a pioneer project (livingroom attachment, outside-coating with an aliphatic Polyurea system inside-coating with a Polyaspartic system)
was done first time in Europe in this way. The Hercules company signed
there as planer, supervisor and system-supplier, the feedbacks from
professional circles were enormous.
Existing livingroom (penthouse) was
attached with a extension in style of a cube. The cube was manufactured
in system building construction, the individual panels were coated
outside with an aliphatic Polyurea system (pure aliphatic polyurea).
In this way not only a water-resistant
and UV-resistant outside coating was achieved, also the pre-defined
color (pre-defined through the local government) without any
re-painting could be achieved in only one operation. Also the
pre-defined capillary diffusion through the architect could be achieved
without any problems.
After transporting and craning of the
individual panels, all joints and new cutted (cutted to "natural mass"
while construction) areas were re-coated directly on place (inner
city).
The spray-coating was done with GAMA machine technology:
Used unit: GAMA Evolution G-250H Professional
Sprayguns: GAMA Master Gun and BD Gun from Pentech US.
The floor-coatings and coatings of the "wet-rooms" (bath, shower) were done with a Polyaspartic system.
The choice for the Polyaspartic system
was done because of the fantastic characteristics as seamless
application, excellent water-resistance and impermeability, highly
gloss effect, attractive finish and high color- and abrasionresistancy.
